The Human Rights Ombudsman, Dr Zdenka  Čebašeč-Travnik, has been acquainted through the media with a case of the burial of a Roman woman in the Dolenjska region.

Due to incomplete and contradictory information, the Ombudsman decided to investigate the case and this morning sent her team of experts to Šentjernej and Škocjan.

The Human Rights Ombudsman of the RS has not been directly approached by any of those involved.

The Ombudsman will present her views on the case after obtaining adequate information.
