On Thursday, April 24, 2014, the Ombudsman of the Republic of Slovenia and the National Council of the Republic of Slovenia prepared a conference titled Who has stolen the work's honor?
Participants were addressed by President of National Council Mitja Bervar, Human Rights Ombudsman Vlasta Nussdorfer and State Secretary at the Ministry of Labor, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities Martina Vuk.
The participants were looking for answers to questions about how the authorities deal with the exercise of workers' rights, where are the largest gray areas, the effective prosecution of violation of rights of workers and what are the potential for improvement in this area. In addition to the Ombudsman, their views, views and suggestions were presented by representatives and representatives of state bodies, civil society, trade unions and professional public.At the end, the ombudsman Vlasta Nussdorfer summarized some general conclusions of the consultation. On their groud some warnings and expectations have been sent to the government, who is expected to find the appropritate solutions to restore the work's honor and quit violations of human rights of working class as well as those of unemployed people.
